Its reconstruction is expected to be completed this fall. On Wednesday, July 31, the Acting Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Svyshcho visited the work site. Together with the Acting Head of Velyky Berezny District State Administration Vadim Shelemon, the head of the region reviewed the reconstruction of the water intake, which will serve the town, visited the construction of a new school in the village of Vyshka and the kindergarten in Myrcha, which will be reconstructed soon.
The reconstruction of the water intake in the Termachuv tract began back in 2011 and is planned to be completed in autumn 2013. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately 960,000 UAH. As experts predict, the launch of the updated intake will allow Velyky Berezny to save more than 30,000 evert month. These costs will be saved due to a significant reduction of energy demand, the cost of which now accounts for almost 70% of the total cost of water in the town.
Igor Svyshcho also visited the construction site in the village of Vyshka. Here, they are building a new school for 125 pupils. Since the beginning of the construction of the institution, they have spent more than 3 million hryvnias. The same amount is required to complete the first phase of construction of the school. The next step will be the construction of the modern gym.
