Treasury hampers the reconstruction of childcare facility

On Friday, the Working Group of the Regional Council visited the village of Skotarske in Volovets district to inspect works on the reconstruction of the local kindergarten, the press service reported.

The reconstruction of the daycare began last year. Of course, the funds for work were not sufficient, so the village community asked the Chairman of the Regional Council Ivan Baloha for help. Through the agreement with the Czech partners from the Vysocina region, the kindergarten was included to the list of objects that are implemented jointly.  The total budget of the project is 675,000 UAH.       Last year, the charitable foundation "ViZa" allocated 200,000 UAH, 173,000 UAH were allocated from the regional budget. To complete the reconstruction in 2013, the "ViZa" foundation allocated 150,000 UAH, 150,000 UAH was allocated from the regional budget at the last session.

Mykhailo Reblyan, a member of the regional council from Volovets district said that the only problem in the reconstruction was the State Treasury blocking the funds allocated for works at the regional council session. It amounts to 150,000 UAH. "Czech partner allocated the funds in time, but the Ukrainian party have problems with payments through Treasury.But let’s hope that the situation will soon be settled and funding will be restored. Skotarske community will have a kindergarten of European model" – the deputy concluded.
