July 12, in Nyzhnye Selyshche of Khust district there was the eighth traditional festival "Selyska spivanka," Mukachevo.net reported. The festival takes place every two years on the day of Peter and Paul.
The festival started in the morning with football, volleyball and athletics competitions. In afternoon there were performances of folk ensembles. The official opening was held in the evening. The festival guests were welcomed by Heorhiy Deliyev, bands "Vosmy den", "Grazhdanin Topinambur", known and loved throughout Europe "Hudaky Village Band", German band "Di grine kuzine" and others.
