According to the newspaper "Uzhgorod", at today’s plenary session of the City Council, the deputies are supposed to consider the transfer of the children’s railway (NGR) from the "Lviv railway" to the city.
Since the order on the meeting, where there are only 7 issues, does not refer to that specifically, probably, this topic is included to the item "regulation of property relations."
Today it will be known whether Uzhgorod will take the mini-railway (which has been abandoned for a long time) on its balance sheet. And then, obviously, the main question will be what the city is going do with it … The facility being in the ownership of the Lviv railway was claimed to be the main obstacle to its revival – the organization was not interested in that.
