Two of the six MPs from Transcarpathia – Party of Regions members Mykhailo Lanyo and Ivan Bushko, during six months of work in the legislature, have not submitted any bill, any request and have never spoken in the parliament. Recall that Mykhailo Lanyo was elected to the Parliament in the constituency number 70, and Ivan Bushko – in the constituency number 73.
Instead, their fellow party member Vasyl Kovacs, elected in Uzhgorod city and Uzhgorod district, has been more active. This week, he submitted to the Parliament two documents – amendments to the law "On employment" and the draft resolution "On the celebration of 1120th anniversary of the city of Uzhgorod."
Another Party of Regions member, elected to the Parliament by party lists, Serhiy Moshak has submitted for consideration the draft amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning the criminalization of smuggling of goods on a large scale, to the Customs Code of Ukraine on the coordination of the provisions on responsibility for smuggling of goods on a large scale, and to the Law Ukraine "On the safety and quality of food" regarding home slaughtered animals and circulation of homemade milk and cheese.
