“No!” to illegal wages!

On Thursday, May 23, at the Regional State Administration, there was the meeting of the regional working group for the legalization of wages and employment chaired by the Deputy Governor Mykhailo Popovich. In order to protect citizens’ rights relating to the legalization of labor, relations between employers and employees, a series of inspections of business entities are being conducted in the region.
Thus, during 4 months in 2013, working groups for the legalization of wages and employment of local executive committees and district administrations have inspected 1561 business entities in the region. As a result it was revealed, that 647 people were employed without proper registration of employment. These checks have a positive result – this year, at employment centers, employment contracts with 509 employees have already been signed and registered.
 – The issue of legal employment and wages remain relevant. Many businesses continue to pay salaries to their employees "in envelopes". By doing so, they violate the law and the right of citizens to state social security. So we have to continue controlling, checking and solving the problem of employment of our countrymen, – Mykhailo Popovich said.
