The construction on the territory of Uzhgorod secondary specialized boarding school with advanced study of certain subjects began recently, however, the contractors promise to complete the gym in October. Students will be able to play indoor soccer, basketball, handball, volleyball there. The level of the future competition gym will allow to host both local and nationwide level competitions among students of youth sports schools. Next year they will start building a modern swimming pool there.
Currently, 517 students study in 17 groups and 62 teachers work there. High school (10-11 grades) has 4 sectors: mathematics, biology and chemistry, Ukrainian philology and sport. In particular, 63 young football and handball players study in the school.
The total estimated value of the object is about 15 million hryvnias. Currently, 7 million hryvnias have already been allocated for the construction of a new sports complex for children. The total area of the new sports complex is 2 thousand square meters.
