Almost completely filled room, sincere applause, good impression – yesterday, May 20, in the Transcarpathian Regional Musical and Drama Theater they showed a play "100 thousand" by Ivan Karpenko-Kary.
It was performed by the actors of the Lviv Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre, which is located in Drohobych.
The theme of the play – human greed – is as relevant today as ever. Actually, this is why the theater decided to show this classic comedy of Ukrainian literature now – the artistic director of of the theatre Mykola Hnatenko said.
The premiere took place in Drohobych recently – March 29.
And today, May 21, they will show the performance of "One hundred thousand" in Mukachevo in the Transcarpathian Regional State Russian Drama Theatre as part of the "Ethno-Dia-Sphere" festival that is being held there this week.
