A dog saved a roadside cafe bartender girl from a drunk customer that attacked her

On that day the detective of Irshava district police department Mykhailo Sukhan was on duty. An entrepreneur reported to him that an unknown visitor in his cafe in the village of Vilkhivka had beaten and robbed the bartender.

Law enforcement officers found out all the circumstances of the case. It was found ot that 21-year-old visitor had ordered and drunk three beers. After that, the visitor paid the bill, but then ordered two more beers for which he refused to pay because he did not have money. Then the bartender decided to call the owner of the cafe. This behavior of the cafe employee angered the visitor, he came behind the bar rack and began to punch her in different parts of the body. Then he snatched a mobile phone "NOKIA" from her hands and continued to beat her. She somehow escaped from him and ran through the back door into the yard, where there was a big dog.  The visitor came after her, but when he saw the dog he did not dare to approach the girl. He did not pay for the last order, appropriated the cell phone and left the cafe in an unknown direction.

Within a day, detective Mykhailo Sukhan identified the attacker who beat and robbed the girl. He lived in the neighbouring Vynogradiv district in the village of Shyroke. The police officer came to his home and learned that the suspect had gone to his sister in Khmelnytsky region. Thus the attacker wanted to avoid responsibility, but the policemen went to Khmelnytsky region, where thet detained him at his sister’s.

21-year-old young man confessed to the crime and voluntarily gave the mobile phone. The investigator of Irshava district police Lt. Victor Hazdyk initiated criminal proceedings against the offender under Part 1 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Robbery) and under Part 2 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional minor bodily injury). This case has been sent to court.
