Transcarpathia, Presov and Košice region will continue to cooperate. This is evidenced by the agreements signed today, on May 11, during the traditional Ukrainian-Slovak Day of Neighbourhood, informs the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
This time the celebration of Ukrainian-Slovak friendship took place at the checkpoint Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemetske. Official cooperation agreement were signed on the main stage in front of numerous participants and guests of the show.
According to the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration O. Ledyda apart from traditional methods of partnership in the tourism and industrial sectors, negotiations are on-going today concerning opening of another Ukrainian-Slovak checkpoint at Velykyy Bereznyy.
At the same time, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Slovakia in Ukraine, Pavol Hamzhik noted that Slovakia had always been assistant to Ukraine in the European integration.
