The man that brutally killed his wife, invented a whole criminal story for the police

First, the jealous man struck his victim on the head with a hammer and then strangled her with a noose. And for the police he invented a story that the woman had been killed for witnessing a robbery …

Last weekend, about five o’clock in the morning, Uzhgorod city police station received a massage from a 48-year-old resident of the city. He reported to the police that unknown persons had killed his wife on the stairs in the hallway of their house … 

The police thoroughly inspected the scene to establish the true picture of the crime, interviewed the residents of the house. Once the evidence were collected, the husband himself became suspected of the crime. In his testimony there were many inaccuracies, which led to his arrest. Soon, the detainee under the pressure of the collected evidence, confessed to the crime.

As it turned out, in the night. a quarrel on the basis of jealousy arose between the man and his six years younger wife. Furious jealous man grabbed a hammer, which he caused the injuries to his wife with, then strangled her with a noose. And to hide the crime, he came up with the story that the wife had allegedly witnessed a robbery, for which she had been killed by unknown persons …

Physical evidence of the crime were seized. This incident was included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, and criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberate murder) has been opened, which threatens the man with inprisonment for a period of seven to fifteen years. The detainee is in a temporary holding facility, the investigation continues.
