This year, the most beautiful girl of UzhNU was elected by honorable judges, including the head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda, the Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov, the Rector of the University, PhD, Professor Fedir Vashchuk, who stressed that the presence of the highest leaders of the region is an indication of respect for the university.
Also, the jury consisted of the director of "Skazka" dance and fitness studio Ilona Palfi, Miss Uzhgorod 2013 Anastasia Kostich, photographer Yuri Kifor and the legendary, familiar to all students of UzhNU Aunt Olga.
They identified the major titles of the evening. The Second Vice-Miss was Nataliya Prysiazhnyuk of the Faculty of Social Sciences, the First Vice-Miss – student of the Law Faculty Marina Stupnyk, and the main title went to Maria Vorobets from the Institute of Foreign Languages."For me, the victory was unexpected. I am very grateful for the support of friends in the audience and those who congradulated me. The competition was at a high level, thanks to the organizers and girls who were really worthy of the victory," – she said.
The audience, meanwhile, chose their favorite, who won the title of "Miss People’s Choice." It was Carolina Varga of the Economics Faculty. The student of the Biology Faculty Anastasia Pavlyshynets was the best in the intellectual competition. She received from the governor a precious gift – a powerful laptop.
