April 17, 2013 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Resolution number 286. "On the number of deputy heads of local state administrations."
According to the resolution, the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration may have no more than four deputies.
So now one of Oleksandr Ledyda’s deputies will lose the job. Now Transcarpathian "Governor" has 5 deputies – Igor Svyshcho, Mykhailo Popovich, Volodymyr Prykhodko, Anton Hromovy and Ivan Kachur.
It is also interesting that after this downsizing, Ledyda will have less deputies than the Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov. As it is known, the mayor of the regional center has as many as 6 deputies.
