On Friday, in the center of Uzhgorod people will have the opportunity to have their blood pressure measured

This year, the WHO dedicated April 7 – the World Health Day – to the issue of identification, treatment and prevention of hypertension. The WHO urges all countries to intensify their efforts to reduce the number of heart attacks and strokes as possible negative effects of high blood pressure.

To this end, the Regional Health Center together with the regional cardiological clinic, regional Red Cross Society of Ukraine will organize the event to commemorate this day in the region.

Everyone will be able to have their blood pressure and blood sugar measured, to learn to provide urgent medical assistance, to consult with cardiologists and to receive thematic handout materials.

The event will begin at 11⁰⁰ am on Teatralna square in Uzhgorod, on April 5, 2013.
