Lviv court of appeal finally confirmed the registration of Andriy Baloha

The judges refused to meet the appeal of Mykhailo Rusyn.

The trial was scheduled for yesterday, at 17:00 o’clock, but then it was postponed for 11:00 on February 14.  The decision was announced around 14:00 o’clock, reported mukachevo.net.

Lviv Court of Appeal refused to meet Mykhailo Rusyn’s appeal and upheld the decision of the Court of First Instance (Transcarpathian Regional Administrative Court). The court decision is final and not appealable. 

The proceedings to cancel the decision to register Andriy Baloha as a candidate to the Transcarpathian Regional Council in the 5th constituency began on February 9 at 12.00. The claim was filed by another candidate for the constituency number 5 Mykhailo Rusyn. He claimed that allegedly Andriy Baloha was listed as a member of the "New Generation Party of Ukraine."

On Sunday, February 10, the second session of the Transcarpathian Regional Administrative Court was held, which confirmed the validity of registration of Andriy Baloha as a candidate the the Transcarpathian Regional Council from the "United Center" for the constituency number 5 centered in Mukachevo.

Thus, the court refused to satisfy the claim of another candidate in this constituency Mykhailo Rusyn, who insisted that Andriy Baloha allegedly was a member of the "New Generation Party of Ukraine".
