Coaches and alumni of the orienteering club "Tovarysh" which operates at the Transcarpathian students tourism and sports center, yesterday, February 13, organized in Mukachevo the "Adventure race on the occasion of Valentine’s Day."
The aim of the organizers was to attract children to the sport and improve their health.
The winners of the first competition in the new season were Roman Yursa and Nina Tsepurdey, Irina Rozman and Lubomir Farynych, Victoria Hlahola and Volodymyr Frenis. All participants received special prizes after finishing the distance.
In September this year, in Transcarpathia there will be the international competition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first All-Union orienteering competition held near Uzhgorod.
