In Uzhgorod, between Teatralna square and the pedestrian bridge a pit has appeared (PHOTOS)

Every passer in the historic center of Uzhgorod risks to fall and receive injuries. 

The gap between the Teatralna Square and the pedestrian bridge keeps increasing, utilities do nothing.The only time the crack was filled with sand was during the visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.Then the official walked the city center, including the bridge, accompanied by the governor Ledyda and the mayor Pogorelov.

Meanwhile, in November 2011, a rumor appeared that 118,000 UAH had been spent for the repair of the crack between the bridge and the square. It is stated in the decision of Uzhgorod city hall "On the outcome of the economic and social development of the city for 9 months of 2011." What the money were actually spent for is unknown.Interestingly, the day after tomorrow, February 14, at the pedestrian bridge there will be the event to celebrate Valentine’s Day – it will be decorated with hearts. So Uzhgorod residents and guests have the chance to admire the bridge "falling apart" from Teatralna Square.
