The agenda of the meeting of the Executive Committee, which was released yesterday, contained an item on the prolongation of permits for billboards.
It referred to the footbridge. However, as it turned out, the draft decision "contained a mistake" – the Director of Municipal Economy Oleksiy Kasperov reported at the meeting. It’s not about the boards on the supporting wall, but about the advertising media on lamp posts on the bridge itself.
It turns out that there are permits for that, and now the owner wishes to prolong them. Thus the executive committee agreed on the prolongation of permits for 10 panels.
The members of the executive committee were informed that these advertising media are not billboards and not even city-lights, but "small advertising structures" which, in addition, "will provide additional lighting."
