Fire and Blood

In Hecha at dawn, about two dozen pigs were killed – the famous festival of "henteshes" – butchers began there.

Before dawn, skilled buthchers killed their victims and began to dress out carcasses. There was a lot of screaming, blood and fire. As for the firing, the vast majority used straw, however, there were those who used more modern equipment.

The festival could not be without its traditional attribute – an obligatory shot of home-brew, though some tasted fresh blood.

At this moment, carcasses are almost dressed out and in the festival tents they are cooking food – they promise about a dozen dishes.

In total, 26 teams participate in the "bloody", but tasty competition, the jury said. Among the participants are representatives of Hungary and Serbia.
