Bus fares in Uzhgorod will increase as of March 1

The executive committee has just finished voting. Only 3 members of the Executive Committee voted against the increase of the fares – Margarita Moschak, Oleksandr Volosyansky and Fedir Vovkanych. Instead, ten members of the executive committee did support the rise of the prices – as of March 1, bus travel in Uzhgorod will cost 2.30 UAH.Also the decision will provide for steps to improve the monitoring of transportation – equipping buses with navigators, bus stops with surveillance cameras, and the age of cars on the routes will be limited.
