Paintings of famous Mukachevo artist Ivan Brovdi in exhibition halls of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum. Today, January 18, his solo exhibition opened there.
As the museum director Francisk Erfan noted, this year the museum celebrates its jubilee – it turns 65. And it is delightful that this year begins with the exhibition of Ivan Brovdi.
At the opening, critics noted that his paintings are distinguished by originality of landscapes and still lifes, and self-portraits of the artist show him as he really is.
Ivan Brovdi is known as a sculptor. The Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Mykyta noted that few of the sculptors can reach this level of skill. "Each of his work is understated in color, it is balanced," – Volodymyr Mykyta said.
At the opening, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration of Culture Yuri Hleba on behalf of the regional council presented Ivan Brovdi a diploma. And the deputy mayor of Mukachevo Igor Radysh congradulated his fellow with such a wonderful event.
The author himself during the opening ceremony was terse. However, he told the guests the main message: "All I wanted to say, I said in the paintings – Ivan Brovdi noted. – If you like at least one of my work, then I am happy."
So, welcome to the exhibition to the art museum in Uzhgorod.
