As the head of the Ministry of Income and Charges of Ukraine Oleksandr Klimenko reported in an interview with the Expert, general declaration is the basis of the concept of the tax service development for the next five years.
In order to implement it, the Ministry invited the world’s leading consulting companies. This takes into account the experience of the most successful fiscal services in the world.
Specifically, Klimenko gave the example of the British tax authorities, which see income and expenses of their citizens, comparing more than 25 databases, including posts in Facebook.
However, the minister does not deny that the main challenge remains the necessity to develop the minds of taxpayers who need to understand their obligations to the state and the state’s obligations to them.
