Cemetery of expectations (photo)

To please us on the New Year’s Eve and Christmas, a fur tree should grow at least 10 years. In optimal conditions, a tree lives about 160 years, but not in our Ukraine. Already in mid-December we start destroying Carpathian "silver" fur trees. At first, Christmas trees were being sold properly and, as argued the chief forester I.V.Fizik, all without exception were labeled with "chips", but then it all went "full circle": chaos reigns on all Uzhgorod markets.

Today is the first day of the New, 2013th, Year. After a "stormy night" the city residents rest, and symbols of the new year, of new hope "decorate" landfills. In developed countries, Christmas tree are recycled, and they benefit "florists" enriching the land for growing flowers.

Uzhgorod has recently signed a contract with a European firm. Perhaps this firm, which took the responsibility to clean the city of garbage, will gather all abandoned trees, and recycle symbols of the New Year so that their death would not be so senseless …
