Uzhgorod government plans to earn 300 thousand more than to spend

At today’s special meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council they approved the draft budget for 2013 in order then to bring it to the session, which will take place on Friday, December 28.
As stated in the draft of the main financial document of the city, the total amount of income shall be set in the amount of 444,757,800 UAH, while total expenditures – in the amount of 444,450,300 UAH. Thus, the city government next year plans to earn about 300,000 UAH more than to spend. And it is this amount – 307,500 UAH – that the amount of loans from the city budget is set for. The reserve fund will be 200,000 UAH.
38,067,200 UAH are planned to be spent for the implementation of national and regional sectoral programs – this amount is provided by the city budget.
"We understand that the budget does not meet our requirements. But we will have the opportunity to recalculate it in the first quarter according to the budget of the state" – said Mayor Victor Pogorelov. Thus, the budget was approved without discussion.
