On the eve of the holiday, December 18, Saint Nicholas’s "helpers" – the Head of the Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine" Vasyl Husti and the deputy of Uzhgorod district council Natalia Myhalyna with a heavy sack of gifts visited the library of Nevytske village in Uzhgorod district.
The Director of the library Lyudmyla Uhryn could not be any happier because the library was replenished with more than fifty books of fiction, journalistic, informative and, of course, children’s literature. These are primarily books by known Transcarpathian authors, publications about our region, etc.
The presentation of books was turned into a little event since the library was visited by students of Nevytsky elementary school. Vasyl Husti read them poems, riddles, and for the right answers children received gifts – books. And Natalia Myhalyna gave a separate small library for the school and promised to replenish it regularly. And also she added a leather ball so that children developed physically too. No kid was left without sweet gifts from St. Nicholas.
