Former governor of Transcarpathia Ivan Rizak gave permission to exhume the body of his son Oleksiy, who died on November 16 in Uzhgorod.
"The exhumation will be tomorrow, Thursday," – said Ivan Rizak by telephone.
The regional prosecutor of Transcarpathia informed that the exhumation of the body will be carried out not only by Transcarpathian but also by Kyiv experts sent to Uzhgorod by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Two days earlier, on Monday, December 10, the preliminary classification of the crime in the criminal proceedings on the case of Oleksiy Rizak (driving to suicide) was changed to murder. The investigation continues.
The body of 23-year-old Oleksiy Rizak was found in the evening on November 16 near the only 16-storeyed building in Uzhgorod on Svoboda Avenue. This summer the young man graduated investigator faculty of the Kharkiv Law Academy of Yaroslav the Wise, worked as the chief tax inspector in Transcarpathian region.
The main version, which had been considered by the police until December 10, was suicide. Law enforcement officials believed that on that night the young man jumped from the 15th floor of the building.
