The Mayor of Beregovo Istvan Gajdos resigned

The City Council Secretary Vitaly Kainov will temporarily assume the duties of the Mayor.
Yesterday, December 5, during an extraordinary session of the city council the Mayor of Beregovo Istvan Gajdos officially resigned in connection with his election as a deputy of the Parliament.
This is the second election of Istvan Gaidos to the Ukrainian parliament. The first time (2002-2006) he was nominated by the Social Democratic Party (United), now – by the Party of Regions. 
 
There were also significant personnel changes. In particular the first deputy mayor Choba Peyter was dismissed from the post and the new deputy mayor was approved. It was an entrepreneur Zoltan Babyak, director of "Global project incest Lampertsaz" LLC. The latter is a close relative of Istvan Gajdos (his half-brother) and the author of the idea of ​​building a large hotel complex and water park in Beregovo.
Thus, the city of Beregovo is left without a head. So many people are probably wondering – when the early election of a successor will be held. Currently, the exact date is unknown, but Vitaly Kainov was instructed to begin the preparation process according to the Law of Ukraine "On elections of deputies of local councils and village, town and city mayors."
