Christmas and New Year are coming! In connection with the Hungarian and Ukrainian holidays the procedure for admission of applicants at the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod in late December and early January will change.
From 22 to 27 of December 2012 and from 29 of December 2012 to 2 of January 2013 the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod will not work.
On 27 and 28 of December 2012 the Consulate General will accept only those applicants for issuing Schengen visas and permits for local border traffic, who will have been pre-registered in the system of online registration.
On 7 and 8 of January 2013 the Consulate General will not receive visitors.
Due to school holidays and vacation at the end of the year and the annual growing number of travels during this period, the Consulate General suggests to visitors – for the sake of avoiding possible discomfort – to plan to apply for a Schengen visa and permit for local border traffic taking into account the above schedule of work.
