The traffic police warns drivers about severe weather conditions and encourages them to drive more carefully.
"According to the National Weather Service of Ukraine, severe weather conditions are expected in Ukraine", – informs the Traffic police.
"At the beginning of the week the air temperature will drop, in most parts of the country there will be snow, sleet, in the central regions – snow and rain mix, icy conditions on roads, in the south and east there will be rains, sometimes heavy," – adds the traffic police.
In view of this, the traffic police recommend drivers to be careful on the road, observe speed, distance and maneuvering requirements, drive especially carefully on bridges and flyovers, activate dipped beam headlights in poor visibility conditions.
"Do not forget to change the tire for the winter, check brakes and lighting, observe parking rules" – reminds the traffic police.
The Ministry of Emergencies has also warned of worsening weather conditions on December 2-5.
Specifically, on December 3 in the western and northern regions there will be sleet, in the central regions – snow and rain mix, in some areas ice covering on the roads, in the south and east there will be rains, sometimes heavy.
Gusts of wind in the country, except for the west, of 15-20 m / s.
Starting from the western and northern regions, the temperature will gradually drop to 4-9 °.
It is expected that on December 4-5 precipitation phenomena will cease, but further decrease in temperature will be observed.
