With fire and wine

In Uzhgorod the four-days festival "Born in Transcarpathia" officially launched.

Equestrian procession with symbolic barrel of wine crossed the city center. It was opened by Uzhgorod mayor after medieval dancing, fights with swords and fabulous fire show at the crossroads of two central streets .

Holiday of wine in Uzhgorod originates from European traditions – these days in France the feast of young wine – Beaujolais Nouveau (Beaujolais Nouveau) – is celebrated.

Te event "Born in Transcarpathia" will last until the following Sunday in the central streets of the city and includes wine tastings and entertainment.
