In the Drama Theatre in Uzhgorod they are going to stage “Mowgli” and plan to replace chairs

Today, November 15, in the press center "Transcarpathia" they talked about opening of the new theater season and novelties, which Transcarpathian Regional Drama Theater plans to surprise the audience with.
According to the theater director Lyubov Olenchuk, this year the beginning of the season had to be postponed a little because of heating problems. However she promised: today and tomorrow a new autonomous boiler of the theatre will be working, so on November 18, at the beginning of the season, the house will be warm. The new theater season will be opened with the show "Road to Heaven" by Dmytro Keshelya. November 25 there will be the premiere of "Courtship in Goncharivka", and before Christmas holidays the theater will present a new work – children’s play "Mowgli", directed by the artistic director of Zhytomyr Regional Music and Drama Theatre named after I. Kocherga Natalia Timoshkina.
Zhytomyr director said that she liked working with Transcarpathian actors. In "Mowgli" she wants to combine the well known story with modern acting, choreography, music. "It will be rather a show for the whole family" – she said. – I wanted to make it fun to watch both for children and adults." 
Natalia Timoshkina admitted that she plans to work with our theater again in the future, in particular, she is thinking over an idea of ​​a children, but very serious play on drug addiction.
  
As for the creative plans, the next year the theater wants to finally stage Shakespeare’s "Richard III", modern interpretation of Kobylyanska’s work and other plays. On the third floor they will soon open the "small stage" for 40 spectators, where some mini-productions could be shown. And the visitors soon will be able to leave their suggestions to the theater in a special box.
