On Friday, November 9, there was the final meeting of the DEC, which took into account the decision of the Transcarpathian Regional Administrative Court in favor of the candidate from the United Center.
The meeting lasted no more than 30 minutes – from 13.30 to 14.00. Members of the commission took note of the judgment under the claim of Pavlo Baloha, which was adopted yesterday, November 8 in the evening and which prohibits the DEC to make changes in revised protocols on election results.
That is, the decision of the DEC on cancellation of election results in 3 presincts (№ 210481, № 210522, № 210523) dated November 7, which gave grounds for the Party of Regions candidate Stepan Derkach to become a deputy, was declared illegal by the court.
Thus, after the final decision of DEC the winner in the 71st constituency according to final protocols, which today have been sent to the CEC, is the candidate from the United Center Pavlo Baloha, who is ahead of Stepan Derkach by 217 votes: the former received 22,209 votes, the latter – 21,992 votes.
