November 6 at 11:30 am emergency rescue service of Transcarpathia received the message that on November 5 around 22:00 in the village of Kanora in Volovets district there was a landslide (approximate volume of 60 cubic meters).
As a result a house inhabited by two people born in 1976 and 1989 was damaged. Fortunately, there were no dead and injured, although at the time of the landslide people were in the house.
According to preliminary conclusions, the house is in emergency condition and is beyond repair. The District Emergencies Commission will decide on the fate of the victims.
The reason of the landslide were likely heavy rains that occured yesterday in Volovets district – reported TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region.
