In Rakhiv district a driver hit a man and fled the scene

In the night, in the village of V.Vodyane in Rakhiv district people found the lifeless body of a young man lying on the roadside. The accident was reported to the Police Station. Arriving on the scene, the police found out that the 29-year-old victim had been fatally injured by an unknown car whose driver fled from the scene. The the victim died due to open craniocerebral injury.

The offender that committed the fatal hit-and-run is wanted by the police to bring criminal charges. According to Art.286 of Part 2 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety, causing a person’s death) the issue of criminal prosecution is being considered – reported the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region.
