Today in Uzhgorod the new web portal dedicated to the nature of Transcarpathia was launched. Actually, the aim of the project is evidenced by the name itself – "Green Transcarpathia."
According to the chief editor Oleg Dyba, the project will be regional, that is directly related to the flora and fauna and the protection of wildlife of our region.
"We are talking about green Transcarpathia. This is the traditional color that symbolizes the environmental activities – said Oleg. – We are talking, rather, about the portal that on its homepage brings together several sites devoted to animals, plants, environment, animal protection activities and more. So far we have limited ourselves with these issues, although we realize that there are more topics. We can not cover everything."
The idea of creating such a portal started with a press conference dedicated to animal protection activities. Then, in particular, the Memorandum on dog shelters was signed. Some of the participants also suggested that such a project is needed. The idea was met positively and soon they suggested to make a web project. And now it has been "born".
