Young fencers from Uzhgorod, Rapinets sisters, together with Angelina Tsymbolinets won silver medals at the championship of Ukraine among the juniors, which takes place this week in Mykolayiv.
In the final, they lost only two shots to the girls from Mykolayiv.
It is worth noting that the Transcarpathian team gave a lot of efforts in the semifinal, defeating a strong team of Kyiv.
In individual competitions the best of Transcarpathians was Christina Rapinets who won bronze medal. Irina Madyar was the 6th and Alina Rapinets was the 10th. The results in sword and saber will be known later.
