October 1, according to the results of the inspection, the prosecutor of Uzhgorod Ivan Shtefanyuk instituted a criminal case on the fact of taking another’s property into possession by deception and forgery of official documents by unidentified persons, based on the Criminal Code – Part 3. 190, Part 1, Part 4 of Art. 358 (fraud and forgery of official documents – is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to eight years).
It was established that the unknown persons, in February 2012, forged Uzhgorod district court’s decision on recognition of property rights and proper recording of dwelling of Uzhgorod citizen at Kapushanska street, which has a value of more than 148 thousand hryvnias, and adjacent land measuring 0.09 hectares.
Based on the specified fraudulent court’s decision they registered a property for a Roma citizen.
Currently prosecution of Uzhgorod also checks the legality of Bureau of Technical Inventory officials on illegal transfer of ownership of the house.
Criminal case is directed for a pre-trial investigation to the investigation department of Uzhgorod department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region. Prosecutor’s office keeps control over the investigation, – said the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region.
