On Wednesday, October 3, in the lobby of the RSA building the solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Education was held. The head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda, his deputy Ivan Kachur, in. at. head of the Regional Department of Education Anna Sopkova, in. at. rector of UzhNU Fedir Vashchuk congradulated teachers on their professional holiday – reports the press center of RSA.
Traditionally the Day of Education in Ukraine is celebrated on the first Sunday of October.
In the Transcarpathian region for the fifth consecutive year, the best teachers are awarded with the regional teaching award named after Augustin Voloshin. It is awarded for personal contribution to the development of pre-school, secondary, non-formal, vocational and higher education.
This year the regional teaching award named after Augustin Voloshin was received by Tatyana Palko, Vita Komar, Lyudmila Pylyp, Miroslav Aleksovych, Valentine Janusz, Tihomir Geytsi, Mariya Rohach, Lyubov Kuzma, Natalia Drobok, Oksana Melehanych, Mykhailo Kyi, Nadiya Rubish, Ivan Reblyan, Olga Popovich, Natalia Lukashenko, Magdalena Myhalko, Mariana Oros, Olena Monich, Hanna Chombokosh, Agneta Ihnatolya, Natalia Maksymets.
