Tax officers believe that the simplified system helps small businesses

The share of single tax revenues in local budget has doubled – last year the figure was only 4.5%.         During January-August 2012 individuals and legal entities – single tax payers paid to local budgets 72 millions UAH of single tax. This is by 42.3 million UAH more than in the same period last year.         

Dynamics of a single tax revenues on January 1, 2012 indicates that the new rules of the simplified tax system contribute to the expansion of small businesses.And with the amendments to the Tax Code the number of single taxpayers and the income from them will continue to grow.           

Note: Under the Law of Ukraine dd. 05.07.2012 № 5083-VI amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine were made, according to which entities with annual income up to 20 million UAH have the right to use the simplified taxation system.
