On August 27 information about the death of fish in Tysa river was received. At the same time, experts of Transcarpathian State Fishery Inspectorate and state environmental inspection in the Transcarpathian region, detected dumping of sewage in the river Boronyavka, which flows into the Tysa. That, according to experts, was likely to cause death of fish.
According to Transcarpathian Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Mykhailo Pohorilyak water samples have been selected from sewage wells and from rivers Tysa and Boronyavka, fish samples have been sent for veterinary research. Experts are determining the number of dead fish and calculating losses.
