Every seventh Ukrainian fled abroad, of which 50% are youth

Six million people, which is seventh of the total population, emigrated from Ukraine. 50% of immigrants are people under the age of 35 years. Young people who graduated college leave the country because they do not want to work for meager wages. The main flow of Ukrainian immigrants goes to Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA and Canada. These data were published by International Organization for Migration.

According to "Sofia" Poll Center, more than half of young people aged 18-29 years are ready to leave the country at the first opportunity. For many of them, emigration is the only way to find a job with decent pay and get settled in life.
