This year the holiday of shepherds returning from the Carpathian highlands is scheduled for September 1 – 2. The festival will be attended by professional cheese makers and folk art masters of Transcarpathia and neighboring regions, representatives of executive authorities and local self-government, art and public associations, organizations, tourists from abroad.
Holiday show will be accompanied by exhibition of the Rakhivshchyna artist I.Doroban and festival-fair, holiday procession, official opening of the "Hutsul bryndza" ignition of campfire, competition for the best trembita and sopilka player, kolomyjka singer and cooker of Hutsul dishes.
