At the time of Soviet regime sundial which was placed on the facade of the present Greek-Catholic Cathedral was painted over. Currently, the church leadership decided to restore the monument.
It is not so simple to restore this monument. Astronomers were also involved in the reconstruction’s work.
It is planned to restore the clock on the wall of the cathedral by the end of summer.
