VIPs’ retinues are allowed to break rules

Cars, carrying state top officials, can violate traffic rules in Ukraine.
This was announced on air of TVi Channel by the deputy chief of traffic police, Vladimir Reznikov, according to the "Kommentarii".
Being asked whether retinues can violate traffic rules, cross a double road marking line, Reznikov said: "Yes, as it is provided by the law".
"We are not saying that the police do not work well. The fact is that we need legislation be changed. We will work according to those laws which the Verkhovna Rada adopts, we will work with the equipment, which the government buys for us. We are just a tool." – said the deputy chief of traffic police.
