At Vorochevo station the second carriage of the electric train № 6565 "Syanki – Uzhgorod" caught fire from the collector, resulting in a break of electric current supply line, after which an emergency stop was carried out.
Law enforcement officers found that as a result of connection break with the electric train contact wire there was no voltage in the contact network, which led to the delay of the train for one hour and 45 minutes.
An additional railroad engine was provided for further movement of electric train 6565. There were no traumas, victims or casualties. The circumstances that caused the line break and damage are being determined by law enforcement officers – said Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at Lviv railway.
