Ukrainian tried to illegally transfer across the border 10 boxes of cigarettes

Ukrainian will have to pay 2 550 hryvnia fine for an attempt to illegally transfer across the state border 10 boxes of cigarettes.

29-year-old man was arrested not far from the state border (50 meters) by Mukachevo Squad border guards of ‘Vylok’ department last day. The offender carried two boxes of tobacco products wrapped in black polyethylene package. The remaining 8 boxes of cigarettes smuggler hid in the bushes near the place of detention.

The offender was detained and taken to subdivision in order to draw protocols on administrative offense. As for the seized cigarettes, they were transferred in the established order to representatives of the Chop Customs Squad – informs the press service of Mukachevo border squad.
