State Tax Inspectorate in Uzhgorod is currently changing the concept of its work, turning from the fiscal institution into the service one – the head of STI Maria Badida said about this today, on July 24, in Uzhgorod Press Club.
Maria Petrovna noted that the decrease in pressure on business through check-verification measures is a priority for the department. In particular, for the six months of 2012 there were planned and carried out only 8 documentary checks of entrepreneurs. Over the same period last year there were 14 such audits.
Uzhgorod collected 158, 6 million UAH to the state budget. The local budget received 132.0 million of taxes and fees, which is 42.9% (or 39, 6 million) more than for the corresponding period in 2011, the estimated base is completed at 102, 1 % , additionally they received 2.7 million USD.
"Age restrictions do not apply for the taxation", – said Maria Badida. "This means that from the time when a person only becomes a citizen of Ukraine, he or she has to pay taxes, regardless of the fact whether a citizen is an adult or not".
