Car buyers are forced to pay to Pension Fund

Τhe President signed the law "On Amendments to Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine” ‘On the levy on compulsory state pension insurance’. "It defines those who have to pay to the Pension Fund: companies, institutions and organizations, individuals who acquire the ownership of the cars, except of the cases of ensuring cars by the disabled in accordance with the law and inheritance of cars.

In other words, 3% to the Pension Fund will be paid not by a seller but by a buyer. The need to pay to the Pension Fund comes from the moment of acquisition of passenger cars ownership.

The law, which will come into force on the day following its publication, car sales expert say, simplifies the control over the payment. At the time of registration of a vehicle, a certificate of transfer of 3% to the Pension Fund has to be provided.
