The Russian gas price will increase for Ukraine in the third quarter. Its price will be more than 426 dollars per thousand cubic meters. This was announced by a chairman of ‘Naftogaz Ukraine’ on June 15, reports UBR with reference to newspaper Dzherkalo Tyzhniia.
We want to remind you that imported ‘Naftogaz Ukraine’ Russian gas was cost 264 dollars per thousand cubic meters in the first quarter of 2011, the price increased quarterly and reached nearly $400 in the fourth quarter. The price increased by $16 in the first quarter of 2012 and reached $425 in the second.
The latest information from the ‘Naftogaz’ indicates that the average annual price of Russian gas for Ukraine will be 440 dollars per thousand cubic meters in 2012, although the state budget was counted on 416 dollars.
