Kiwi-mafia appeared in Uzhgorod

The press conference of a well-known far beyond Transcarpathia biologist breeder Henry Straton took place in Uzhgorod Press Club on Monday, June 11. The biologist is primarily known for being the only one in Ukraine to breed a hardy kind of kiwifruit the plant can produce good harvests in any area of the country.

However, someone did not like such business in Transcarpathian region: the biologist was attacked in Uzhgorod on May 16, another event with the criminal subtext occurred in a few weeks later. ‘The police officers visited me and made the plants verification which were sent to the customers that day. Envelop with white color powder was found in one of the boxes, as a result of the research’ – said the breeder. He does not know how it got there, but the most confusing him that the inspection representatives were interested only one box from 55, which were in the bus, that were taken plants for delivery.

Mr. Henry sees a certain sequence in these crimes concerning him. He does not know how it will end – he said. However, his longtime friend, political scientist Viktor Pashchenko is convinced that all these criminal acts return us in the 90^th years.

‘Over the past two or three years biologist’s business rose and marched him with a quite substantial income with whom he allegedly had to share according to some people. This situation reminds “tumultuous” 90^th, when businessmen were simply strangled at some point. Therefore, someone decided to take this business and under control’.

The breeder does not know who wishes him harm, because there is no equal to him competitors in the whole country and he said that he trust to three employees who work for him. But he does no leave the angry customers, who paid for the product in December and got it only in mid-May.
